THE PASSOVER

A PROPHECY FULFULLED - THE LAMB WITHOUT BLEMISH

The Passover Feast was given by GOD to be a rehearsal of the First Coming of the Yahawashi (Jesus).

The Yahawashi’ sacrifice is the pivotal event in the YAHAWASH’s plan to save Yasharahla. Speaking of His certain death, the Yahawahsi said that He, as the Son of Man, must be LIFTED UP” (CRUCIFIED) even as MOSED LIFTED UP THE SERPENT IN THE WILDERNESS, so that WHOEVER BELIEVES IN Him should not perish but have eternal life.

JOHN 3:14

14 – And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, EVEN SO MUST THE SON OF MAN BE LIFTED UP: 15 – That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

NUMBERS 21:9

9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, WHEN HE BEHELD THE SERPENT OF BRASS, HE LIVED.

THE PASSOVER IN THE OLD TESTAMENT FORESHADOWED THE MESSIAH’S CRUCIFIXION.

EXODUS 12:13 - 14

13 – And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I WILL PASS OVER YOU, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. 14 – AND THIS DAY SHALL BE UNTO YOU FOR A MEMORIAL; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall KEEP IT A FEAST BY AN ORDINANCE FOR EVER.

EXODUS 6:5 - 8

5 – And I HAVE ALSO HEARD THE GROANING OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I HAVE REMEMBERED MY COVENANT. 6 – Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: 7 AND I WILL TAKE YOU TO ME FOR A PEOPLE, AND I WILL BE TO YOU A GOD: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. 8 And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD.

EXODUS 13:3

3 – And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: THERE SHALL NO LEAVENED BREAD BE EATEN.

EXODUS 13:14

And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:

EXODUS 12:13

And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

JOHN 1:29

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

1st CORINTHIANS 5:7

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

HEBREWS 3:6

But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

GALATIANS 5:1

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

LEVITICUS 17:11

For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

COLOSSIANS 1:14

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

1st PETER 1:18 - 19

18 – Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 – But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

1st JOHN 1:7

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

REVELATION 1:5

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.

EXODUS 12:1 - 2

1 – And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, 2 – This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

March / April is the first month of the Most HIGH’s Calendar.  When we receive the Messiah into our lives it is the beginning of a Re-newed Covenant relationship with God.

JEREMIAH 31:31 - 33

31 – Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 – Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 – But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

2nd CORINTHIANS 5:17

31 – Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 – Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 – But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Passover is the first of the Feasts.  Likewise, repenting of our sins and believing in the shed blood of the Messiah is the first step in our walk with The Most HIGH.

THE LAMB WAS HIDDEN FOR FOUR DAYS

EXODUS 12:3

3 – Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

EXODUS 12:6

6 – And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

JOHN 1:29

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Passover is the first of the Feasts.  Likewise, repenting of our sins and believing in the shed blood of the Messiah is the first step in our walk with The Most HIGH.
